DDS training

Anne Mills and Barry Cohen the research team behind the Diagnostic Drawing Series will be in Montreal in April 2009 for a two day seminar. The training made possible by the AATQ is open to art therapists and other mental health professionals. Complete details and registration form are available from the pdf document found here.

This intensive weekend workshop will teach participants how to administer and rate The Diagnostic Drawing Series (DDS) for adolescents and adults. It features a survey of 25 years of research findings, with an emphasis on their usefulness to the practicing clinician. The faculty will introduce a structure-based, tri-level approach to the image that enables participants to integrate research data with other information about the client’s pictures and art making process. A method of DDS report-writing for clinical settings will also be taught.
AATQ members: $205 before March 22; $255 after; $295 at door
Non-members: $265 before March 22; $ 295 after; $325 at the door
