Going mad in 700+ drawings

The Guardian is consistent in presenting interesting people in the arts. Bobby Baker an artist, and performer also holds a Senior Research Fellowship in Drama, at Queen Mary, University of London. But what is of particular interest to the readers here is the fact that she has also spent time in day hospitals, psychiatric wards and crisis centres which she charts in an extensive series of drawings, at times giving visual form to what was impossible to voice otherwise.

You can read a short article about Bobby Baker’s difficulties with severe depression and her evolving impressions about therapy and DBT in particular.  A short video interview can be found here, and if you scroll down you can listen to a 90 minute audio-visual discussion with the artist and Professor Bhui who works as an academic psychiatrist in London, England.  Your comments are welcomed.
